Celebrate dad all fancy-like in Latin!
If you're like most of us, you first learned the term "Pater Familias" from the hilarious Ulysses Everett McGill in the classic O Brother, Where Are Thou? movie.
This character corresponds to Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey, and as pater familiias you know when you're "in a tight spot" and how to get out of it (usually with a brilliantly-timed dad joke). Just don't get hit by that train. (cheesy grin)
